Day Thirty-two: Today’s the day.

Last night I walked 9225 steps, and simply couldn’t make it to 10,000. This morning I got up before anyone was awake and walked a mile. I decided, this is the day I am going to make it to 10,000 steps. What a knuckle head! The Denver weather forecast says it’s going to be over 100 degrees. We are doing our last load of laundry, taking the kiddos out to dinner, and then going to sleep early, as tomorrow we hit the road and go home.

We have been on the road for over a month, and I have to say, as long as I can get a home-cooked meal, do some laundry, and hang out with friends or family, this is an awesome way to take a vacation! I will process the photographs, mark the United States map, and rack up another annual road trip.
