Day Twenty-one: Baraboo, Wisconsin

After a 10:30 a.m. appointment with the archivist of the Circus World Museum, Pete Shrake, and peering into nineteen boxes of my father’s elephant/circus collection, we sat down in the big top and saw an honest-to-gosh old-fashioned circus.
We walked through all the display and exhibit barns, and had our pictures taken by elephants Elle and Viola.
It turns out my dad’s entire collection is online, but it was so much fun to hold his albums and circus pictures once again.
