Day Nineteen: Muscatine, Iowa to Decorah, Iowa

Not such a good idea following the Mississippi River north after a flood! So many roads closed, SO many detours, so many different routes we went today…
All through Iowa we found routes going north to Decorah.
First: 34 west, 35 north, then 9 east. No, too big, too many miles west.

Then, 61 north to 92 west, to 218 north, 80 to 380 to 150 north to 52…oh brother.

THEN: 61 north to 22 to 280 north to 80 west to 380 north… Mississippi had overflowed the 61, but seeing Davenport and Rock Island twice was fun. Buildings were amazing.

We are here, however, and will go to the fish hatchery tomorrow, looking for eagles!
