To start the summer off with a bang we gathered at the new Irish Pub in town, Brendan’s, to celebrate Matthew’s 25th birthday.
Just about everybody had a traditional meal: bangers and mash, fish and chips, steak and mushroom pie, shepherd’s pie, and corned beef and cabbage. We washed it all down with pints of the real old Guinness Stout.
This place used to be the Sizzler. They have done an amazing job decorating. Tables and chairs were brought in from the UK to give it the feel of a real pub. Dee-Diddly music was playing. It was fun.
