We arrived just in the nick of time from St. Paul, to get on the largest coal-fired ferry in the world.

Budweiser Brewery

Coal used for stoking the coal-fired engine and is brought into the ferry hold by semi-trucks in two fifty-cubic yard loads per crossing.

Lighthouse at the tip of Wisconsin

We waved good-bye to people that showed up to watch the ferry leave.

Lake Michigan looked like the ocean with whitecaps and color.
